Stormy Start to Thursday Clears for a Sunny Weekend in Austin

Thursday will start wet in Austin, but it will clear up and become warmer as the weekend approaches. Expect showers and a thunderstorm early morning, with rain lasting until noon. The fog should clear up before 8 a.m., and the temperature will be around 66 degrees. Winds will change from the south to the northwest in the afternoon. There is a 90% chance of rain, and the rainfall will be about the same as last night.

By Thursday night, the weather will improve, with clear skies and temperatures dropping to a cool 48 degrees. A west-northwest wind will become stronger after midnight. Friday looks much better, with sunny weather and a pleasant temperature of around 71 degrees. Winds from the north-northwest will be 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph. The nice weather will last until Friday night, with temperatures dropping to about 44 degrees.

This weekend, Austinites can look forward to friendly, warm, and beautiful weather. On Saturday, the temperature will be 74 degrees; on Sunday, it will go up to 77 degrees. There are light winds now, but they might get stronger on Sunday, reaching up to 20 mph. Nights will stay clear and peaceful, with temperatures dropping to the 40s and 50s.

Next week will stay warm. On Monday, the temperature will hit 81 degrees with mostly sunny skies. It will be partly cloudy on Tuesday with a high of 77 degrees.
