Corrections Officer Patricia "Patty" Jakubowski died quietly on December 10, 2024, with her family by her side, according to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
On Monday, Jakubowski had a physical response while working at the Williamson County Jail. Before she was taken to Seton Williamson Hospital, jail staff gave her rapid care. Even though they tried, Jakubowski died the next day.
In an emotional post on social media, WCSO said that Jakubowski's 17 years of service were marked by her quick smile and happy attitude. "With a quick smile, a happy attitude, and an infectious laugh, Patty did many different things." "Like her family and friends, we are saddened by the loss of a loyal friend and coworker," the agency said.
The people she worked with and the community she helped will remember Jakubowski's dedication and good mood for a long time. Her family, friends, and the WCSO all remember her as a dedicated cop loved by everyone on the team.
Soon, news about services to celebrate Jakubowski's life and work for the department will be announced further.
