Austin mayoral candidates have submitted their 30-day campaign finance reports, which demonstrate the amount of money they have raised and the amount they have yet to spend as the November election approaches.

Mayor Kirk Watson has amassed a total of over $927,000 since the beginning of the year, surpassing the combined contributions of all of his competitors. Watson's team observed the substantial community support, particularly in light of the city's $450 donation limit. He has nearly $277,000 remaining to spend as he enters the final month.

Carmen Llanes Pulido has reported that she has raised nearly $34,000 since July, increasing her total for the year to over $104,000. Nevertheless, she has a mere $4,661 remaining after campaign expenses.

Doug Greco followed closely, raising over $10,000 during the most recent period, bringing the total to nearly $100,000. Greco is also currently fighting a lawsuit to overturn a city regulation that restricts donations based on geography, which he contends is to the benefit of incumbents.

Kathie Tovo, a former member of the City Council, has raised an additional $20,000, increasing her total to approximately $77,000. She still has over $44,000 in her possession. Additionally, Tovo has $181,807 in outstanding loans, the majority of which are from her previous council campaigns.

After entering the contest in late August, Bowen, a newcomer, has raised $11,355 and has nearly $10,000 in cash.

The fundraising totals underscore the competition's financial stability as the election approaches, with only one month remaining.
