Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has passed critical hamstring recovery tests with no setbacks. However, his official return to the active roster has yet to be determined ahead of Sunday’s game.

Though he will still be assigned to return to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game, Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has passed all hamstring rehab tests with no setbacks.

League sources claim that despite not yet being assigned for return, his recuperation progress is not hampered. The team is currently deciding the best course of action. Hence the answer on whether he will be activated in time for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions is yet unknown.

Should Collins be cleared for practice, the twenty-one-day window for a comeback will open. Though hopeful, head coach DeMeco Ryans emphasizes that Collins' development will determine the outcome.

Leading NFL receiving yards before his hamstring injury against the Buffalo Bills, Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has completed all required tests for his comeback. Running at twenty miles per hour during training, Collins has recovered his speed and agility.
